meet the team
meet ashley, founder
Meet Ashley, the founder of The Friendwork Collective, and the driving force behind our community. Her journey to building this network comes from firsthand experience and success with finding friends in an unconventional way. Back in 2023, Ashley decided to take a leap of faith and turn to social media to make new friends.
After multiple “friend dates” and connecting with a variety of people, she started bringing her new friends into her existing circle and introduced them to each other. This was a way to blend her new friendships with her old ones and create a vibrant, supportive community otherwise known as her friendwork.
Her success in finding and nurturing these connections inspired her to create The Friendwork Collective. She wanted to share the joy and fulfillment she found in making friends through social media with others. Her goal is to make it easier for people to find their network of friends and build meaningful relationships.
“Bringing people together is my passion. I find so much joy in introducing individuals to each other and watching those connections grow.”
meet carter, jeopardy host
Meet Carter, your go-to host for Pop Culture Jeopardy and a beloved member of The Friendwork Collective. As one of Ashley’s good friends and an all-around trivia enthusiast, Carter brings his love of game shows and reality television to every event he hosts.
Whether he's riffing on the latest reality drama or delivering clues to the teams, Carter knows how to keep the energy high and the vibes fun. You’ll often find him at our watch parties—unless he’s too busy leading the charge at trivia night.
“The best part of hosting is getting to interact with the teams and watching people light up when their favorite category pops up—especially ones like before and after.”
Expect laughs, clever clues, and just the right amount of friendly competition when Carter’s in the spotlight.
meet rosie, pilates instructor
Meet Rosie, the Pilates instructor with The Friendwork Collective and one of Ashley's closest friends—brought together through a series of friend dates in 2023.
With a deep love for both reformer and mat pilates, Rosie brings a thoughtful, balanced approach to movement that makes her the perfect guide for our summer sunrise and sunset series on the beach.
"My favorite thing about teaching is helping people move their bodies and getting the chance to meet so many new people in the city. it feels like a community coming together, and I love getting to share my love for Pilates with everyone."
When Rosie’s leading class expect grounding energy, intentional movement, and that extra bit of connection that makes the whole experience feel like home.
